Kuun's hearing delayed

Johannesburg - The disciplinary hearing of Blue Bulls' flank Derick Kuun has been delayed until Friday, the SA Rugby Union (SARU) said on Tuesday.

Kuun was to have attended the hearing in Cape Town on Tuesday afternoon.

SARU gave no reason for the delay.

It said the hearing would now take place at the offices of the Blue Bulls Rugby Union in Pretoria at 14:00 on Friday.

Kuun was cited for foul play during his team's Currie Cup semifinal game against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday.

He is accused of striking Sharks' hooker Bismarck du Plessis in the 56th minute of the game.

The Sharks won 16-12 and will face Western Province in the final on home ground on October 30.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
