Kankowski's fate to be revealed

Johannesburg - The outcome of the SARU judicial hearing of Sharks No 8 Ryan Kankowski, who was cited for foul play during an Absa Currie Cup game against the Xerox Lions this weekend, will be announced on Thursday.

Kankowski was cited under Law 10.4 (b) for stamping an opponent.

The Sharks loose forward used his right foot in a stamping action on the body (stomach area) of the Xerox Lions flank Trevor Hall during the 75th minute of the game.

The Lions defeated The Sharks 22-20.

A telephonic SARU judicial hearing held on Wednesday was chaired by Advocate Rob Stelzner.
