Cape Town - Western Province forward Deon Fourie has indicated he will stay on at the union, after earlier considering a possible move to France.
Fourie, who will captain WP in the Currie Cup final against the Sharks in Durban on Saturday, earlier this year indicated he will likely leave for France after the Currie Cup.
"Allister (Coetzee, WP coach) knows that I have had an offer, but I am still focused on the Currie Cup, I am still here until the end of October," Fourie said back in August.
However, after a decent Currie Cup where the regular hooker has impressed af flank, he's indicated he will stay in Cape Town.
"I'll never leave WP. I think the Cape, Western Province and its people have become an important part if my life," the 26-year-old told Die Burger's website.
