Hollenbach fit for 100th game

Cape Town - Golden Lions centre Alwyn Hollenbach has been cleared for their Currie Cup semi-final against Western Province in Johannesburg on Saturday.

According to the Beeld website, Hollenbach, 27, passed a fitness test on Thursday after he injured his groin last week against the Blue Bulls, which means he will play his 100th first class game on Saturday. He will partner Springbok Jaco Taute in midfield.

Hollenbach was bracketed with Dylan des Fountain when coach Johann Ackermann named his side on Tuesday.

Ackermann also confirmed that CJ van der Linde will be on the bench, ahead of Pat Cilliers, who's off to play his rugby in the Cape next year. JC Janse van Rensburg and Jacobie Adriaanse are the props in the starting line-up.

The clash kicks off at Coca-Cola Park kicks off at 19:00.
