Johannesburg - Griquas coach Dawie Theron has selected his side to play the Lions in Kimberley on Saturday, but will have to wait for fitness tests on a number of players before finalising the squad.
Theron's greatest concern will be with the injury to Springbok wing Bjorn Basson, who is being bracketed in the starting team with Richard Lawson.
If Lawson has to play, his place on the bench will be taken by big Bertus Swanepoel, former Leopards three-quarter who has returned from a stint overseas.
Forwards Micheal Passaportis, Gerhard Human and Rohan Kitshoff have also been bracketed on the bench with two of them to be in the match-22.
At tighthead Jacobie Adriaanse replaces Albertus Buckle who moves to the bench.
