Fans: Currie Cup too close to call

Cape Town - The 2014 Absa Currie Cup will be a tightly contested affair, if Sport24 readers are to be believed...

VIDEO: EP Kings v WP preview

In a poll on the Sport24 Currie Cup section, out of the 5 355 votes cast, a slight majority of 27% believe last year's losing finalists, WP, will walk away with the honours this year, closely followed by 2013's winners, the Sharks, with 23% of the support.

The Golden Lions (21%) and Blue Bulls (19%) are next best, with the Free State Cheetahs and EP Kings only attracting 4% of the votes.

Griquas and the Pumas (both 1%) aren't shown much love by Sport24's rugby followers.

Saturday, August 9
Griquas v Sharks, Kimberley - 15:00
