Double late blow for Bulls

Pretoria - The flu epidemic that hit the Vodacom Blue Bulls has mainly cleared up, but the team lost two reserves before Saturday's match against the Sharks at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.

According to the supersport.com website, while the starting XV have all reported fit, the Blue Bulls had to withdraw both prop Frik Kirsten and IRB Junior Player of the year Jan Serfontein from the side as they have not recovered sufficiently from their virus.

Kirsten is replaced by Rossouw de Klerk, while Serfontein will be replaced by Ulrich Beyers on the bench. Beyers was in the starting line-up last week but was dropped with Johann Sadie coming back into the side.

The match kicks off at 19:10.
