Deysel replaces Kankowski

Durban - Jean Deysel has replaced injured eighthman Ryan Kankowski in the Sharks team to face the Blue Bulls in a Currie Cup encounter in Pretoria on Saturday.

Deysel steps off the bench to start in place of Kankowski, who has been ruled out for four weeks with a broken thumb.

Alistair Hargreaves takes Deysel's place on the bench.

Sharks coach John Plumtree has made two other changes to the starting XV, as the title holders look to recover from a loss to log leaders the Lions last week.

Lock Jandre Marais replaces Anton Bresler, who moves down to the bench, and prop Eugene van Staden joins the starting team in place of Wiehann Herbst in another straight swap.

Skipper Keegan Daniel has recovered from an ankle injury and the flanker will fill his usual place in the starting team.
