Dates, officials confirmed for Currie Cup semis

Cape Town - The South African Rugby Union (SARU) on Monday confirmed the kick-off times and match officials for the Absa Currie Cup semi-finals and the various junior competition playoff fixtures.

The Blue Bulls host Western Province on Friday in the first semi-final at Loftus Versfeld at 19:00.

On Saturday, the Golden Lions host the Free State Cheetahs in the second playoff match at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg at 13:45.

Referee Marius van der Westhuizen will take charge of the Pretoria encounter, while Jaco van Heerden will referee the Johannesburg match. Both Currie Cup Semi-finals will be televised live on SuperSport 1.

The two Absa Under-19 A-Division semi-finals will be played on Friday, while the Absa Under-21 A-Division semi-finals will be contested on Saturday.
