Cape Town - Free State Cheetahs captain Adriaan Strauss is confident they won't throw away another game in the last couple of minutes for the remainder of the Currie Cup.
The Free Staters have collapsed towards the end in a few of their games this season, which could cost them a home semi-final.
They blew a 25-11 lead with five minutes remaining to draw against the Golden Lions last week and also threw away a 10 point advantage in the last 10 minutes against the Blue Bulls a few weeks back.
And Strauss believes the reasons could be attributed to poor individual errors.
"I think the problem lies with our decision making and individual errors. We have at times done dumb things at the wrong time - like for example not maintaining possession," Strauss told the Volksblad newspaper.
"In our video-session this week we gave a lot of attention to our individual decision making."
However, the burly hooker is confident they have successfully addressed the issue and there won't be a re-occurrence of last weeks happenings.
"I believe we can correct the lapses and will be switched on from here onwards."
The Free Staters are currently in third position on the log standings with 37 points - one behind the second-placed Sharks and eight adrift of the Lions in top spot.
They travel to Witbank this week to take on the Pumas on Friday evening.
