Cheetahs make three changes

Johannesburg - Cheetahs coach Naka Drotske has made three changes to his starting team for Saturday's Currie Cup clash against the Pumas in Bloemfontein.

Regular scrumhalf Tewis de Bruyn is back in the run-on side named on Thursday, replacing Piet van Zyl who moves out of the match 22 entirely.

Eighthman Boom Prinsloo will also receive a starting berth after loose forward Ashley Johnson received a Springbok call-up.

Lock Izak van der Westhuizen will replace Waltie Vermeulen who is recovering from an ankle ligament sprain.

Cheetahs: Riaan Smit, Philip Snyman, Robert Ebersohn, Corne Uys, Ryno Benjamin, Sias Ebersohn, Tewis de Bruyn, Boom Prinsloo, Pieter Labuschagne, Johan Wessels, Izak van der Westhuizen, Francois Uys, W.P. Nel, Adriaan Strauss (captain), Coenie Oosthuizen.

Replacements: Hercu Liebenberg, Marcel van der Merwe, Ockie van Zyl, Pieter Myburgh, Enrico Acker, Johan Goosen, Philip Burger.
