Cape Town - The Cheetahs have managed to lure another Blue Bull to Bloemfontein, with prop Rossouw de Klerk to join them after the Currie Cup.
Cheetahs coach Naka Drotské confirmed to Volksblad that the 22-year-old will join the Cheetahs for two seasons. This comes after the Free Staters also recently managed to secure the services of Bulls centre Johann Sadie.
De Klerk, who made his Super Rugby debut for the Bulls in 2010, will help fill the void left by WP Nel, who recently left to play for Scottish club Edinburgh.
The Cheetahs started with Marcel van der Merwe at tighthead and Trevor Nyakane at loosehead in their 43-20 loss to the Lions in Johannesburg on Saturday.
The Bulls are apparently interested in signing Van der Merwe, which will make De Klerk a welcome newcomer in Bloemfontein should the men from Pretoria prove successful in their pursuit.
The Free Staters take on the Bulls in Bloemfontein in their second Currie Cup clash on Friday night.
Kick-off is at 19:10.
