Bulls unchanged for Pumas

Pretoria - Blue Bulls coach Pine Pienaar has named an unchanged team to take on the Pumas in their Currie Cup match at Loftus Versfeld on Friday.

The Pretoria side clinched a narrow 21-18 victory over log leaders the Lions at Coca-Cola Park last week.

Flank Warwick Tecklenburg, who replaced Dewald Potgieter late last week, retained his starting position in the team named on Tuesday after Potgieter was ruled out for the remainder of the season with an ankle injury.

With his squad lying fifth in the standings, and locked in a battle for a place in the semi-finals, Pienaar admitted the Pumas would not make their job any easier.

"We had a huge fright against them in Nelspruit earlier in the season and only won 16-12," Pienaar said.

"They are a tough nut to crack, as they have showed by beating Griquas in Kimberley.

"We cannot look past this match. We need to run our own race and play our own game if we want to get there."
