Blue Bulls boosted by Bok trio

Pretoria - The Blue Bulls will be able to call on the services of Springboks Dean Greyling, Chiliboy Ralepelle and Bjorn Basson for Friday night’s Absa Currie Cup match against Western Province in Pretoria.

Ralepelle has fully recovered from a knee strain he picked up while on Springbok duty, Greyling’s suspension has lapsed and Basson is fully fit after recovering from an earlier operation.

According to Blue Bulls team doctor, Org Strauss, no injuries were reported after the clash against the Sharks last weekend. Louis Fouchè will not train on Monday though, due to a shoulder strain, but will be fit to train again on Tuesday.

Deon Stegmann, Pierre Spies and Fudge Mabeta remain the long term casualties and will not play again during the Absa Currie Cup campaign.

No! I think the smart thing to do is start again with a younger skipper ...

I'd keep Siya captain for now, but look to have someone else for 2027.
