Johannesburg - Rugby player Bees Roux will soon hear his fate on one of three reported charges the Blue Bulls laid against him after he appeared before a disciplinary hearing on Tuesday.
The presiding officer would hand down his judgment within the next 48 hours, the Blue Bulls said in a statement.
"The parties agreed to split the charges and to only commence with the first charge and to deal with the remaining charges at a later stage, if necessary."
Roux pleaded guilty last month to charges of culpable homicide and driving under the influence after the murder of metro police officer Johannes Mogale in August last year.
Roux also faces a charge of a breach of contract after he trained with the Pumas rugby team during his trial.
The 29-year-old reached a plea bargain agreement with the State and avoided jail time. He agreed to pay the victim's family R750 000 and was given a five-year suspended sentence.
Roux's disciplinary hearing comes a month before his contract with the Blue Bulls is set to end.
He signed a two-year contract with the Bulls at the end of the 2009 season.
