April at fullback for Sharks

Cape Town - Sharks Director of Rugby Gary Gold has named his team for their clash against the Free State Cheetahs in Bloemfontein on Saturday (14:00 kick-off).

Gold made minimal changes from the team that beat Griquas 45-20 in Kimberley last weekend.

Among the backs, Garth April starts at fullback, with Odwa Ndungane moving to right wing.

Wandile Mjekevu, who started at fullback against Griquas, is sidelined with an ankle injury.

As a result, Odwa Ndundane moves from fullback to right wing.

The Cheetahs are currently fourth on the log, two points ahead of the fifth-placed Sharks.

It is the final round-robin clash of the season for both sides which means the match will effectively be a 'quarter-final'.

The winner will face the Golden Lions in the semi-finals at Ellis Park.
