London - England flank Tom Croft has been ruled out of the tour to South Africa due to a neck injury.
Croft was stretchered from the field following Leicester’s win against Harlequins on April 21. It’s been confirmed that the injury will sideline the loose forward for a lengthy period and that he won’t be available for the Tests against the Springboks in June.
The news of Croft’s injury comes just four days after flank Tom Wood was ruled out of the tour with a foot problem.
The Boks play England in Durban (June 9), Johannesburg (June 16) and Port Elizabeth (June 23).
