Cape Town - An arrest warrant has been issued for Springbok and Stormers scrumhalf Ricky Januarie, who has been charged with drunk driving, after neither he nor his lawyer arrived at court on Friday.

According to the Cape Argus, Januarie was arrested in Durbanville in September 2008 for drink driving.

Januarie's arrest last year was the second time in 2008 that he had landed in trouble due to alcohol abuse.
