Charteris blow for Wales

Perpignan - Welsh lock Luke Charteris was ruled out for the rest of the season on Saturday after rupturing ligaments in his right knee in Perpignan's French Top 14 win over Montpellier.

The 29-year-old Charteris will also miss the 2013 Six Nations where Wales are the defending Grand Slam champions.

Charteris was hurt in the 29th minute of Saturday's game which his team won 30-19.
