Carter holds kicking auditions

Cape Town - All Blacks star flyhalf Dan Carter has advertised to the Twitter world for a kicking partner, with the world record Test points scorer looking for someone to be on the receiving end as he builds into the 2013 Super Rugby campaign with the Crusaders.

According to the allblacks.com website, Carter missed the beginning of the red and black’s 2012 campaign, but is looking at starting his pre-season fresh and fit, with the help of some of his social media fans.

“Hey guys. I'm doing the 1st week of my pre-season in Taupo but I need someone to return my kicks. Anyone keen?” Carter tweeted to start the idea.

“Won't be flying anyone here sorry but prefer an up & coming rugby player or keen fan that lives or can get to Taupo this Thursday.

“If keen to help me with my kicking session on Thursday then send a picture of the person you think should join me & why #KicksWithDC

“U have to live in Taupo or be able to get to Taupo this Thursday. Would prefer an up & coming rugby player if possible. Hashtag #KicksWithDC

“Keep sending the photo's in and I will pick a winner tomorrow at 5pm #KicksWithDC
