Cape Town Tens entries open

Cape Town - The 2012 Castle Cape Town Tens team registration is open, so get in there early and reserve your team for one of the highlights of the year!

In 2011, 56 teams participated in Cape Town’s favourite sporting event and now organisers are raising their game to include 4 divisions and 80 teams in 2012. You can expect everything to be bigger and better this year; entertainment, beer tents, kiddies play areas, food tents and personalities!

Come join the fun at Hamilton’s Rugby Club, Green Point on the 3rd and 4th of February 2012.

Divisions include:

Premier division – 16 teams: Professional and other top club and touring sides

Beer division HEAVY – 24 teams: If your team is a club team, whether or not playing in the club colours and/or name Academy teams, or the majority of your players are in some sort of academy set up (you should even consider the Premier Division in this case)

Beer Division - LIGHT – 24 teams: Your team was brought together just for this tournament. The majority of your team are long since retired and/or aren't playing regular rugby. You really are playing just for the beer!

Veterans Division – 16 teams: All players must 35 years and over (can turn 35 anytime in 2012 to qualify!)

All applications and full entry fee of R8 000 must be received before 30 September 2011 to guarantee entry and to have your playing kit included in your entry fee.
