Cape Town - Former Western Province Springbok scrumhalf Bolla Conradie, will turn out for the Boland Kavaliers in the Absa Currie Cup's First Division next season.
Conradie will fill the huge gap left by Marnus Hugo when he joined the Griquas a few weeks ago.
Last season at Western Province, he was behind both Ricky January and Dewaldt Duvenage for a starting berth, so with regular game time, Conradie could soon be back to his best.
The Kavaliers, who will be coached by former Lions mentor Loffie Eloff next season, also signed Emerging Springbok lock Nikolai Blignaut from the Sharks and crack Pumas centre Tyron Hysse.
Boland's first friendly match early next year is against the Stormers in Cape Town's new soccer stadium.
