Habana cited for kicking Clerc

Paris - South Africa wing Bryan Habana has been cited for kicking France's Vincent Clerc in the face during Friday's international in Toulouse.

The case will be heard by the International Rugby Board's disciplinary committee on Wednesday.

Television images appear to show Habana kicking out at Clerc when the French winger was lying on the ground in the 38th minute.

If found guilt Habana risks being suspended for the Springbok's next test against Italy on Saturday in Udinese.

The South Africans, who lost 20-13 to France, then have a date in Dublin against Ireland on November 28 to wrap up their European tour.
