London - Midweek captain Chiliboy Ralepelle and prop Gurthrö Steenkamp will return to South Africa after being injured during the Springboks' opening tour match against Leicester at Welford Road on Friday.

Ralepelle has an injured foot and has to see a specialist. Steenkamp injured his knee.

Tighthead Jannie du Plessis is doubtful at this stage with an injured hand.

Vodacom Free State Cheetahs front-rankers Wian du Preez (prop) and Adriaan Strauss (hooker) have been called up as replacements and are set to join the squad shortly.
