Blue Bull to marry Ryk's sister

Cape Town - Blue Bulls flank CJ Stander is engaged to Olympic swimming star Ryk Neethling's sister.

Stander asked Jean-Marié Neethling for her hand in marriage last weekend, according to sarie.com.

Ryk congratulated the pair on Twitter, writing: “Congrats to my youngest sister @jmneethling and @cjstander on getting engaged this morning! I’m still cheering for the Cheetahs though”.

Stander will move to Munster, after agreeing terms with the Irish club, when his contract with the Blue Bulls runs out n October 31.
 
Stander has captained the Vodacom Blue Bulls at Under-19 and Under-21 level as well as South Africa at Under-20 level.

He made his Super Rugby debut in 2012.
