Big wins for WP, Bulls U-13's

Bloemfontein - The Blue Bulls on Tuesday recorded their second big win over Eastern Cape opposition as five teams, including arch-rivals Western Province, remained unbeaten after day two of the 41st Coca-Cola Under-13 Craven Week at Grey College.

Eastern Province, Griffons and Namibia recorded their first wins of the week, but by far the biggest disappointment of the tournament so far have been hosts Free State, who followed up their 15-10 loss to SWD in the main game on Day 1 with a 26-12 defeat to KwaZulu-Natal in Tuesday's final match.

The Bulls followed up their 31-6 victory over EP on Monday with a 34-10 win against Border, while WP, Griquas, SWD and the Falcons also made it two from two going into Thursday's third round.

It was a day for the eighthmen to shine, WP No 8 Zakareeyah Sallie going over for a hat-trick of tries in his side's 45-0 drubbing of the Leopards and Bulls counterpart Dylan Nysschen scoring three against Border to take his try tally for the Week to four.

WP were in particularly devastating form, their 36-5 win over the Pumas on Day 1 backed up by a complete performance against the team from North West, of which much was expected following their 56-0 victory over Zimbabwe on Monday.

The action now moves to the Free State Stadium for Thursday's third day, with the first of nine matches kicking off at 09:30.
