Bayonne - French Top 14 strugglers Bayonne on Thursday signed South African props Gert Muller, from Agen, and JC Janse van Rensburg, who had been playing with the Lions in his domestic competition.

Muller, 27, arrived at Agen in 2010, but has played little this season following ankle surgery while Janse van Rensburg, also 27, has played 47 times for Lions in the Super Rugby.

Bayonne have been busily recruiting with next season in mind.

Fiji wing Saimoni Vaka, flank Jean Monribot, Argentine fullback Martin Bustos Moyano, Kiwi fullback Stephen Brett and scrumhalf Mathieu Belie have also been brought on board.
