Baby Boks squad named

Johannesburg - Winger Wandile Mjekevu, centre Francois Venter and flanker Siya Kolisi were on Friday selected in the Baby Boks starting line - up to play the Argentinian Under-20 team in Santiago del Estero on Saturday.

The trio were part of the team that played in last year's IRB Junior World Championship, and get some valuable game time with the national Under-20 side preparing for this year's tournament that will be staged in Italy in June.

Head coach Dawie Theron chose an entirely new starting line-up from the team who lost 8-7 against the senior Argentinean side on Wednesday.

Blue Bulls Under-19 loose forward Arno Botha will captain the team that includes SA Schools representatives, flyhalf Johan Goosen and scrumhalf Kevin Luiters, who represented the Free State Cheetahs at last year's Craven Week in Welkom.

Cheetahs fullback Riaan Britz wears the number 15 jersey with Ulrich Beyers moving to the bench.

Venter, with four caps to his name, will be partnered by Blue Bulls player Bradley Moolman at centre.

The South Africa Under-20 team will play a second international friendly match against the Argentinians next Thursday.
