BaaBaas call up WP captain

Cape Town - Western Province captain Juan de Jongh is the latest South African player added to the Barbarians squad to play Australia at Twickenham next month.

The Barbarians on Tuesday finalised their squad for the match to be played on Saturday, November 1.

It was earlier on Tuesday reported that Cheetahs scrumhalf Sarel Pretorius has also been invited to play for the BaaBaas, while the other players added on Tuesday include flyhalf Colin Slade (New Zealand), lock Alastair Kellock (Scotland), lock Dominic Bird (New Zealand), utility back Joaquin Tuculet (Argentina), scrumhalf Tomas Cubelli (Argentina), flank Matt Todd (New Zealand), lock Steven Luatua (New Zealand), lock Matias Alemanno (Argentina) and prop Angus Ta'avao (New Zealand).

Other South Africans already included in the squad are Marnitz Boshoff, Matt Stevens, CJ Van der Linde, Coenie Oosthuizen, Heinrich Brussow, Thomas du Toit, Jacques Botes and Michael Rhodes.

The Barbarians are coached by New Zealander John Kirwan.
