Aussies, Wales start well

Cape Town -  Australia and Wales have started their IRB Junior World Championship campaigns with solid victories over Scotland and Fiji respectively.

Results from the IRB Junior World Championship

Wales trailed 12-3 early in their Pool A game against the Fijians but eventually took control to win 44-18 at the Danie Craven Stadium in Stellenbosch on Monday.

Australia thrashed Scotland 67-12 at the University of the Western Cape (UWC) Stadium in their Pool C clash.

In later clashes New Zealand's Junior All Blacks take on Samoa in Stellenbosch, England play Italy at UWC and France face Argentina, also at UWC.

Hosts South Africa take on Ireland in the day's main game in Stellenbosch (18:45 kick-off).
