9 Boks in Barbarians squad

Cape Town - Three more Springboks have been added to the Barbarians squad for a game against Fiji in London later this month.

Sport24 earlier reported that Coenie Oosthuizen, Duane Vermeulen, Patrick Lambie, Willie le Roux, Jean de Villiers and Schalk Burger will play in the November 30 match against the Islanders.

And according to Die Burger's website, three more Boks - Eben Etzebeth, Bismarck du Plessis and Tendai "Beast" Mtawarira - have also accepted invitations to take part.

This brings the tally to nine Springboks for the festive match to be played at Twickenham.

The BaaBaas will be coached by the All Blacks' Steve Hansen, with the full squad yet to be announced.

All the above-mentioned Springboks - excluding Burger - are currently on tour with the Boks in Europe.

They tackle Scotland in Edinburgh on Sunday (kick-off 17:00 SA time).
