20 years on - Stransky does it again!

Johannesburg - Twenty years after Springbok flyhalf Joel Stransky famously slotted the World Cup-winning drop goal against the All Blacks at Ellis Park, he did it again during a stadium tour last Saturday.

With less pressure than during that intense final on June 24, 1995 the former Springbok slotted the drop goal in a pair of jeans and socks in front a handful of supporters before the start of the Super Rugby match between the Lions and the Waratahs.

The supporters present relived the moment courtesy of a stadium tour from sponsors Vodacom.
