Top 5 must-watch weekend sporting events

Cape Town -  It's the weekend!

But the sporting world never sleeps, so hang on tight and be sure to watch these FIVE events (in no particular order)!

1. ENGLISH PREMIERSHIP EXTRAVAGANZA!

The English Premiership is here to keep us entertained through Saturday and Sunday.

Some of the biggest fixtures include the mouth-watering clash between Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur (Kick-off on Saturday, 13:30) and then see AFC Bournemouth host Antonio Conte's Chelsea (Kick-off on Saturday, 18:30).

Then we end off the weekend to how Leicester City and Everton get underway as their new managers look on (Kick-off on Sunday, 18:00).

2. PROTEAS V BANGLADESH

The Proteas have a 1-0 are lead in the two-match T20I series against Bangladesh.

JP Duminy is in charge and the Proteas need ONE more victory to complete a 100 percent domination over the Tigers.

Play on Sunday in Potchefstroom starts at 14:30.

3. TKO ROUND 16

It's the Telkom Knock-out this weekend!

Some of the fixtures include Bloemfontein Celtic taking on SuperSport United (Saturday, 18:00) and Amakhosi taking AmaZulu FC (Saturday, 20:15).

We then end off this weekend, with Chippa United hosting Pitso Mosimane's Mamelodi Sundowns (Sunday, 15:30).

4. EUROPEAN TOUR'S WORLD GOLF CHAMPIONSHIP 

The European Tour is hosting a star-studded WGC-HSBC Championship in Shanghai.

Will world No 1 Dustin Johnson is on the charge, but will Japan's Hideki Matsuyama come back to defend his title?

I all comes down to one - the Currie Cup final!
