WWE stars heading for SA

Cape Town - The WWE superstars are in South Africa this month for shows in Cape Town, Durban and Johannesburg.

With great trepidation, Sport24 tracked down superstar Kane, and put the following questions to the 7-foot "monster"...

What is the atmosphere like when WWE fly together?
Most of the time we are on regular commercial airlines, so it’s really not much different compared to a normal flight.

What are you looking forward to most in South Africa?
I’ve only been to South Africa once before and that was many years ago. I remember it being a beautiful place and I’m glad to get the opportunity to come back.

What’s your favourite part of being a WWE superstar?
Being able to see parts of the world that I never thought I would get to see; South Africa being one of them.

Cape Town-born Justin Gabriel chatted about the amazing feeling of living his dream, and looking forward to visiting Cape Town for the first time in three years.

The Big Show is 7-foot-1 (2.16m) tall, and at his top weight is currently announced at 485 pounds (220kg). He is a veteran of the WWE and WCW brands, and is a 5-time World Champion between those brands.

The WWE superstars will be in action on July 6 and 7 at the Grand Arena at Grand West in Cape Town, on July 8 at the Westridge Park Tennis Stadium in Durban and on July 10 and 11 at the Coca-Cola Dome in Johannesburg.
