The former heavyweight champion and Robinson, rated one of the best boxers in history, share the honour with Jake LaMotta, Carmen Basilio, Riddick Bowe, Carlos Ortiz, Mike McCullum, Gene Tunney, Benny Leonard and Tony Canzoneri.

The “non-participant” inductees include Harold Lederman, Steve Acunto, Jimmy Glenn and, posthumously, trainers Gil Clancy and Ray Arcel. Ring magazine founder Nat Fleischer is also on the list.
