Paris - Luxembourg's Frank Schleck, the brother of former Tour winner Andy, has been linked with a move to Kazakh outfit Astana.

The elder Schleck was dumped by his team RadioShack last week, just days before completing a suspension for using a banned diuretic, in a move that angered his brother.

L'Equipe reported on Monday that Astana have offered Franck a deal for the remainder of this year with an option to team up with Andy in 2014.

Astana have already lost three riders from this year's Tour, with Janez Brajkovic, Fredrik Kessiakoff and Andrey Kashechkin all having pulled out.
