Van der Burgh into 50m final

Cape Town - South Africa's Cameron van der Burgh has qualified second-fastest for the final of the 50m breaststroke final at the Fina World Championship in Kazan, Russia.

Van der Burgh won his semi-final in a time of 26.74, but his bitter rival Adam Peaty of Great Britain posted the quickest time - and a new world record - in winning his semi-final in 26.42.
