SA boxing ref gets WBF nod

Cape Town - Cape Town international boxing referee Eddie Marshall has been appointed as a member of the World Boxing Federation (WBF) executive committee, it was announced on Monday.

This comes after years of top-class refereeing and judging around the world.

Marshall is now the third South African to serve on the WBF executive.

The other two are Howard Goldberg (president) and Mathews Phosa (honorary president).
