Cape Town - South African middle distance runner Caster Semenya has been pictured on the training field following a month of controversy surrounding her gender, according to a report on the Mirror.co.uk website.

Since winning the 800m at the 2009 World Championships in Berlin last month she has been at the centre of a row over her gender, with reports this week suggesting that she was forced to undergo ‘humiliating’ gender tests before the World Championships.

Semenya was pictured at the University of Pretoria while Athletics South Africa (ASA) delegates and members of the parliamentary portfolio committee on sport met to discuss a potential solution for the controversy surrounding her situation.
