The fight between the Ukrainian and the Briton will take place on June 25 or July 2, Klitschko's manager announced on Wednesday.
Bernd Bonte said Germany, Russia, the United Arab Emirates and South Africa were among the countries interested in playing host for the eagerly awaited fight.
No final decision about the venue has been made but "the contracts are finalised," Bonte told a German newspaper, Die Welt.
Klitschko will defend his WBO and IBF heavyweight titles. Haye holds the WBA belt.
Klitschko's elder brother, Vitali, will put his WBC heavyweight title on the line against Poland's Tomasz Adamek on September 10.
Haye, who has conducted a long-running war of words with the brothers, has said he wants to beat both of them.
"Once I have knocked out Wladimir, then it's on to his older brother," Haye promised.
