Sapiro squeaks into 400m final

Cape Town - South Africa's Shireen Sapiro qualified for the final in the women's 400m freestyle S10 at the London Paralympics on Wednesday.

Sapiro, finished fourth in her heat in a new Africa record time of 4:59.54.

However, her time was only good enough for the eighth and final spot in Wednesday evening's final.

The final is scheduled for 18:58 SA time.

Sapiro won the bronze medal in the women's 100m Backstroke S10 on Tuesday.
