Cape Town - South Africa's Natalie du Toit qualified quickest for the final of the women's 100m freestyle S9 at the Paralympics on Friday.
Du Toit, bidding for her four gold medal in London, touched the wall in 1:02.95.
Du Toit is the current world record holder in the event, having posted a time of 1:01.08 in Manchester in 2008.
Unfortunately, Du Toit's compatriot Emily Gray finished last in her heat in a time of 1:08.01 and failed to reach Friday evening's final.
The final is scheduled for 18:37 SA time.
