Du Preez sixth in T51 final

London - South Africa's Pieter du Preez has finished sixth in the men's 100m T51 final at the Paralympic Games on Monday.

Du Preez finished the eight-man race in a time of 24.21 seconds.

Finland's Toni Piispanen won gold in 21.72 - a new paralympic record.

Italy's Alvise de Vidi (22.60) took silver, with Algeria's Mohamed Berrahal (22.97) claiming bronze.
