Cape Town - Everyone is talking about South Africa's golden boy, Wayde van Niekerk, who broke a 17-year standing world record in the 400m to became South Africa's first gold medallist of the 2016 Rio Olympics on Sunday.

Emotions were evident from the 24-year-old and South Africans far and wide basked in pride, as our very own defied all obstacles and took home the ultimate prize.
