SA relay team through to final

London - South Africa's swimming relay team is through to the final in the men's 4x200m freestyle after finishing third in their heat in a time of 7:11.51 at the 2012 London Olympic Games on Tuesday.

The men's 4x200m freestyle relay team consisting of Darian Townsend, Jean Basson, Sebastien Rousseau and Chad le Clos.

Townsend said while he wasn't satisfied with his own performance, the other three pulled it through for them.

The men's 4x200 freestyle final will be held on Tuesday evening.
