Le Clos sneaks into final

London - South Africa's Chad le Clos has sneaked into the final of the men's 200m individual medley at the Olympic Games.

Le Clos finished fifth in his semi-final heat, claiming an overall joint seventh spot with a time of 1:58.49.

America's Ryan Lochte finished first overall in a time of 1:56.13.

Le Clos on Tuesday won the gold medal in the 200m butterfly.
