Marseille - France's former Olympic champion Laure Manaudou and her swimmer boyfriend Frederick Bousquet have become the proud parents of a baby girl, the president of her former club the Marseille Swimming Circle (CNM) announced on Sunday.
The baby, named Manon, was born on Friday night and weighed in at 3.7kg, said club president Paul Leccia.
"We're happy to have a new member," he added.
Former 50m world record-holder Bousquet trains with the CNM club.
Manaudou, 23, an Olympic gold medallist in 2004 who dominated her sport from the Athens Games to 2007, announced her retirement from the pool last September.
