Cape Town - It was a day to remember for Team South Africa at the Rio Paralympics on Thursday as two golds, a silver and a bronze took the country's overall medal count to 13.
That was enough to leave South Africa 20th on the overall medal table.
South Africa's two golds on the day came through Ernst van Dyk (cycling road race), Reinhardt Hamman (javelin), Jonathan Ntutu (100m) and Dylan Buis (long jump).
The Paralympics are due to end on Sunday.
South Africa currently has five golds, four silvers and four bronze medals at the event.
In August, South Africa's able-bodied Olympic team finished with 10 medals in total that included two gold, six silver and two bronze medals.
