WATCH: 'Smiling Lightning' claims 400m gold in Rio

Cape Town - Charl du Toit added a sixth gold medal to Team South Africa's haul at the Rio Paralympics men's 400m (T37) event.

It is Du Toit's second gold medal of the games after he had won the 100m earlier in the week. 

Team South Africa has now won 14 medals in Rio - six gold, four silver and four bronze - to move up to 22nd on the overall table.
