Cape Town - Team South Africa are celebrating their 10th medal at the Paralympics in Rio de Janeiro thanks to Ernst van Dyk who took gold in the cycling road race (H5 category).
Van Dyk finished in a time of 1:37.49, just ahead of Alessandro Zanardi (Italy) and Jetze Plat (Netherlands).
Team SA now have the same number of medals as their able-bodied compatriots achieved during the Rio Olympics.
The Paralympics end on Sunday.
